Substance Abuse Management Biographies
 
Ramona Graham, Substance Abuse Department Director, ICADC, CDP. Ramona came to CHS in 2001 as the Substance Abuse Manager. She has over 18 years for service in the Substance Abuse Field. She is an Internationally Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor and a Certified Chemical Dependency counselor in Alabama and Washington. She is also an American Board Certified Interventionist.

Rosemarie de Farias, Shoreline Substance Abuse Program Manager: Rosemarie has been working with CHS for the past 5 1/2 years. She first started at CHS as a youth counselor.  After 2 1/2 wonderful years she took on the King County Drug Court program which she thoroughly enjoyed.  In addition to her manager position, Rosemarie is also a Co-Occuring Counselor.  Rosemarie is a Washington State Certified Chemical Dependency Professional and has been in this field in both North and South America for the past 17 years.

Scott Lingle, Scriber Lake Substance Abuse Program Manager: Scott has worked as a Chemical Dependency Professional for nearly 8 years; 6 years working with adults and, most recently, with youth.  Scott is currently certified in the States of Washington and Idaho as a Chemical Dependency Professional as well as being internationally certified.  Scott is also the instructor for the 8 hour ADIS (Alcohol & Drug Information School) class at our Shoreline site.

Candace Hunsucker, Wraparound Program Manager and Coach: In 2006, Candace started her career as our Primary Youth GAIN Assessor (Northshore STARS Program). As a Chemical Dependency Professional, in 2008 she transitioned into her role as a Substance Abuse Counselor working with youth who were primarily self-motivated for treatment, and then a Prevention Intervention Specialist. As a result of an extensive process awarding CHS a new 2009 Wraparound Program, Candace moved into her current role working with court involved youth as the Wraparound Program Manager and Coach. She has worked with youth and families in a variety of systems and settings, including family mediation. 


Paula Thomas, Northshore Substance Abuse Program Manager: Paula is a Certified Chemical Dependency Professional. Over the past 10 years, she has enjoyed counseling adults, youth, and families. Paula has had the great opportunity of working as a drug court liason for 2 years, as a co-occurring counselor in a mental health facility for 3 1/2 years. Paula is currently enjoying her position at CHS as the Northshore STARS Youth Outpatient Program Manager and a Prevention/Interventionist in the Northshore School District.
