Shoreline Substance Abuse Outpatient Treatment
Outpatient Programs are available to both youth and adults who are
deemed appropriate for this level of service based on his/her assessment
results.
Outpatient Treatment is designed for individuals who need less
intensive services than IOP and are learning to live without alcohol and
other drugs.
Outpatient treatment may include a a combination of group counseling,
individual counseling and family counseling. The frequency of these
sessions is based on the individuals needs of the client and may vary
from once a month to several times a week. Families are encouraged to
participate in the treatment experience by attending our "Family Nights"
and family counseling sessions. All parenting clients are required to
attend our Guiding Good Choices parenting classes.
The youth program in for youth ages 13 to 20. We utilize the
evidence-bases treatment curriculum called
Seven Challenges in our youth
program.
The adult outpatient program uses a variety of best practice
treatment methods. Monthly sessions meet the requirements of Phase Tree
of Deferred Prosecution and Department of licensing.
Additionally, we offer a Passages to Change program that is
designed for individuals with significant legal involvement who do not quite "fit" into either the youth or
adult program (age 16 to 25).
